About Me

Anna Marimón is a sustainable design researcher from Spain. She has a first degree in Industrial Design and a passion for primary education, performing arts and experiential learning.

After finishing her MA in Sustainable Design with Outstanding at the University of Brighton, she is currently a PhD candidate in Local Development and International Cooperation

 at the Jaume I University.
Anna’s research is situated in the context of education in sustainable development for primary school children in the UK. Her interest is in how design can be used to facilitate social change through education. She uses creative, research-informed, interdisciplinary approaches to create tools and resources for educators. Her practice-based design research seeks to translate complex ideas about sustainable development into more accessible, experiential activities for younger audiences.
